Day of the dead is coming up and we are already used to celebrating it here around here, remember the first time I made the altar? Even at the kid’s school has a big festival every year that we love to go to!

I made these printable sugar skull masks for the kids to color and wear a while back and they are so fun. I grabbed some ribbon to attached them the first time but I realized it’s so much easier to attach with rubber bands!

There are two slightly different masks for you to use, the kids love coloring lots of them. Also, you can glue extra details like sequences, feathers, little gems, or any craft supplies you have on hand!

To make your printable sugar skull masks:

• Download them here.
• Print, color, glue details and cut.
• Use a hole punch to punch two holes for the rubber bands.
• Get the rubber band inside each hole and loop it around to close it and leave a big loop to attach to each ear (try different rubber band lengths depending on the kid’s sizes).

MÁSCARAS DE CALAVERAS DE AZÚCAR IMPRIMIBLES

El día de los muertos ya se acerca y aquí ya estamos acostumbrados a celebrarlo, ¿se acuerdan la primera vez que hice el altar? Incluso en el colegio de los niños siempre hacen un gran festival grande todos los años al que nos encanta ir.

Hice estos imprimibles con máscaras de calaveristas de azúcar para que los niños coloreen hace un tiempo y a ellos les gusta mucho. La otra vez se las amarré a la cara con cinta, pero me di cuenta de que es mucho más fácil usar ligas.

Hay dos máscaras diferentes que pueden usar, los niños se distraen mucho colorándolas. Además de colorear les pueden pegar detalles adicionales como lentejuelas, plumas, joyitas, o cualquier otras cositas de manualdiades que tengan a la mano!

Para hacer sus máscaras de calaveras de azúcar:

• Descarguenlas aquí.
• Impriman, coloreen y decoren las máscaras.
• Utiliza un abre huecos para perforar dos huecos de los lados y agregar las ligas.
• Inserta una liga en cada hueco y dale la vuelta en si misma para cerrarla y dejar un círculo cerrado grande que se pueda amarrar a la oreja (prueba diferentes longitudes de ligas dependiendo de los tamaños de los niños).
