Creative Ideas to Display Kids’ Art

I must confess, I have piles and piles of my kids’ art since forever tucked away in a closet, I’ve displayed some of them but I always feel like I need to display more around the house for everybody to admire.

One of the reasons I know I don’t display kids’ art is because some of them are so big and I don’t have that much space to hang them.

But I figured out a great way to display them: By scanning the kids’ art or taking pictures of them! Then, I can treat them like a photo and print them in any size or form because there are so many photo products to choose from! –During this quarantine since we are staying at home, you might have some extra time to do this and the good news is that Walmart Photo offers same-day products!

Today I’m showing you how to photograph kids’ art and super cool ideas on how to display your kids’ art!

CREATIVE WAYS TO DISPLAY KIDS’ ART

Best Photo Products I recommend to print kids’ art

• Wallet Prints: Keep in mind they come in a set of 2, these are so cute to use with a cord and clips, pick the most colorful ones!
• 4×6: Use them to place inside a frame or simply tape to the wall
• Same-Day Books: These are the best!! Kids will love to show their art easily to friends and family! And here is where I love to include any note or school work they do as well.
• Mounted Photos: Hang them or place them on a tabletop
• Collage Prints: You can have a collection of artwork on the same page!

 

LIVING/FAMILY ROOM

I love the mounted photos to display the kids’ art in the living room, there are many already designed collages you can choose from in the Walmart Photo page, the Cool Mosaic Monogram one was my favorite.

TIP: A cool thing to do with collages (or art photo books) is to include an actual photo of your kid among the artwork, it gives it a personalized touch and makes you remember how they were when they created that art.

Use photo clips and hang the wallet prints on a living room shelf, they look so special and cute!

Display the Photo Books with your kids’ art on a credenza or TV stand, stack them together and place a couple of plants around them, I guarantee they will get looked at often.

 

KID’S ROOM

The kids’ room is the first place to have their artwork! Maya, especially, was very excited to choose her art that was going to be hung in her room!

I used the collage prints and the wallet prints for her room, I taped them with washi tape and this way she can easily interchange with new ones whenever she wants. I also used a little string with mini clothe pins to hang the wallet prints and she loves it!!

 

HOME OFFICE

My home office is super tiny, it’s just a desk in the corner of my living room, but even so, I placed a 4×6 print in a frame and it looks great and inspirational right there! You could display the mounted collage or if you have more space include a frame in a gallery wall.

 

GALLERY WALL

I have a gallery wall in the hallway with lots of pictures of our family, I included one of the kid’s collage prints in a frame and hung it there and it looks great! Sometimes instead of shopping for art, check your own kids’ art bin!

 

 

So is it worth preserving those huge wonderful pieces of artwork in photos?? Of course!! Printing your photos or kids’ artwork will always be worth it, everybody wants to admire them.

Debo confesar que tengo montones y montones del obras de arte que han hecho los niños desde hace años guardados en un closet, algunos de ellos los he guindado antes, pero siempre siento que necesito mostrar más en la casa para que todos puedan admirarlos.

Una de las razones por las que sé que no los exhibo más es porque algunos de ellos son muy grandes y no tengo tanto espacio para colgarlos.

Pero descubrí una excelente manera de mostrarlos: ¡Escaneando el arte de los niños o tomándoles fotos! ¡Entonces, puedo tratarlos como una foto e imprimirlos en cualquier tamaño o formato porque hay muchos productos fotográficos para elegir hoy en día! –Como estamos en cuarentena en casita es posible que tengan algo de tiempo extra para hacerlo y la buena noticia es que Walmart Photo ofrece productos que están listos el mismo día.

¡Hoy te muestro cómo fotografiar el arte de los niños y unas ideas bien chéveres de cómo exhibirlos!

MANERAS CREATIVAS DE EXHIBIR EL ARTE DE LOS NIÑOS

EN LA SALA O SALON FAMILAR

Me encantan las fotos montadas para mostrar el arte de los niños en la sala. Ya existen diseños de collages pre-hechos entre los que pueden elegir en la página de Walmart Photo, el Cool Mosaic Monogram fué mi favorito.

TIP: Algo chévere en los collages (o en libros de fotos de arte) es incluir una foto real de tu niño o niña entre las obras de arte, le da un toque personalizado y te hace recordar cómo eran cuando crearon esa obra de arte.

Usa clips de fotos y cuelga las foticos tamaño billetera en algún entrepaño de la sala, ¡se ven tan cuchis!

Exhibe los libros de fotos con el arte de sus hijos sobre un mueble, amontónalos y coloca un par de plantas a su alrededor, les garantizo que los abrirán con frecuencia.

EN LOS CUARTOS DE LOS NIÑOS

¡La habitación de los niños es casi que el primer lugar para exhibir sus obras de arte! ¡Maya, especialmente, estaba muy emocionada de poder elegir el arte que iba a colgar en su cuarto!

Usé las fotos tipo collage y las fotos tamaño billetera para su cuarto, las pegué con teipe washi y de esta manera ella puede intercambiar fácilmente con otras nuevas cuando quiera. ¡También usé una pequeña cuerda con mini ganchitos deropa para colgar las foticos chiquitas y a ella le encantó!

 

EN LA OFICINA DE LA CASA

Mi oficina en la casa es muy pequeña, es solo un escritorio en la esquina de mi sala, pero aun así, coloqué una foto tamaño 4×6 en un marco y se ve linda e inspiradora ahí mismo. También pudieran poner el collage montado o, si tiene más espacio, incluyan un marco en la pared conjuntamente con otras fotos estilo galería.

PARED ESTILO GALERÍA

Tengo una galería de fotos en la pared del pasillo con muchas fotos de nuestra familia, incluí uno de las fotos tipo collages de los niños en un marco y lo colgué ahí y ¡se ve chévere! A veces, en lugar de comprar arte, checa la caja de arte de tus propios hijos.

 

Entonces, ¿vale la pena preservar esas obras de arte enormes y maravillosas en fotos? ¡¡Por supuesto que si!! Siempre valdrá la pena imprimir fotos o el arte que los niños hacen, todo el mundo quiere admirarlas y recordar.
