When Adrian was a baby I started looking at Bento boxes and I dreamed of the day he was big enough for me to make him those beautiful creations.

Now, as they grow, I have made beautiful creations sometimes and other times not, but I love the process, it helps me stay creative and find ways to improve in lunch-making!!!

The type of lunches change but the main containers, bags, and accessories that you need don’t change so much. I have come to love many of the products I use and I think they will help you make the perfect lunch boxes for your kids too. The majority of the products listed I own and there are a couple I list that I don’t own but plan to get in the future because I think they are super cool. Take a look!

1. YUMBOX BENTO LUNCH BOX: I won a whole set of Yumbox at the beginning of last school year and we all love them. The trays can be interchanged to one that has fewer compartments, so if you have a sandwich it will fit for example. I’ve included a couple more Yumbox products in this list too (See number 4 and number 10).

 

2. EASY LUNCHBOXES: One of the first lunch box containers I got and I still use on a weekly basis. They are super easy to use and I feel it’s a must in your lunch box making! I also talked about them when I wrote about Momables here.

 

 

3. PLANET BOX: I am so interested in this lunch box, I see it constantly on Weelicious feed, she uses it beautifully and effectively, I like the set that comes with the bag as well. I think having many compartments is such a great help.

 

4. YUMBOX MINI: Our set of Yumbox included these mini ones. They are so cute and useful! Sometimes I pack the regular Yumbox container AND this one too. You can fit their morning or afternoon snack here.

 

5. EASY LUNCHBOXES MINI DIPPERS: These tiny little containers are super ultra helpful, sometimes I fill them with sauce or small fruit or crackers, whatever fits! When you have extras space inside the big container but want to separate it, these come in handy.

 

6. RUBBERMAID LUNCHBOX SANDWICH KIT: I would like to have a set of these because sometimes I want to have it all separated to fit taller lunch bags (like number 12) or just to place extra snacks inside the kid’s bag.

 

 

7. OMIEBOX: I reviewed the OmieBox when it was still a Kickstarter project. I think it’s genius!!! You can have hot food inside the lunchbox combined with other food without mixing. Or, you can just have it all cold, it’s super versatile. We still have our and use it, it’s worth it!

 

8. GREEN PAXX: These are listed as popsicle molds but we actually use them as snack containers for the kid’s lunches. They are fun for them, you can fill them with carrots, nuts, little crackers, anything tiny!

 

9. REPAC SNACK BAGS: We have successfully reduced the use of plastic bags around the house so these reusable snack bags are perfect! We have the same exact colors in this picture, I got them at Earth Fair last time we went in Balboa Park.

 

10. YUMBOX INSULATED BAG: When I won the Yumbox prize these were included and I love them, they fit the Yumbox and the EasyLunchboxes perfectly horizontal. I don’t like the bags that turn the lunch containers vertical cause they mess up the food!! It is also very durable, but I recommend to get the black one always as it doesn’t get as dirty! Adrian has an orange one and it looks super dirty after a whole school year.

 

11. WILDKIN LUNCH BAG:  An amazing bag that fits a lot (Plus it comes in beautiful designs!). I also got this one because it can keep the container horizontal, it fits EasyLunchbox and the Yumbox size plus the top compartment can fit a small water bottle and more snacks!

 

12. PACKIT FREEZABLE BAG: I really want to try this one, I don’t own it yet but I think it’s very useful for Summer camp when sometimes the kids complain that the lunch got soggy or too hot because they might leave the lunchbox under the sun during the morning :(. You can freeze this whole bag (it folds completely) and then it will help keep the insides cold until lunchtime.

 

13. CUTEZCUTE ANIMAL FOOD PICKS: I follow Momables’ feed always for ideas and have got 2 of her books, and she uses these a lot, these cute picks are helpful, reusable plus the kids get excited with them, so they are a MUST!

LAS LONCHERAS PERFECTAS PARA NIÑOS

Cuando Adrian era un bebé comencé a ver todas las loncheras tipo Bento y soñaba con el día en que fuera lo suficientemente grande para hacerle esas comidas bellas y divertidas.

Ahora, a medida que los dos van creciendo les he hecho unas bellas y otras no, pero me encanta el proceso, me ayuda a desarrollar mi creatividad y a encontrar maneras de mejorar haciendo loncheras!

El tipo de almuerzos que les hago siempre va cambiando, pero los envases, las bolsas y los accesorios que uno necesita no cambian tanto. Hay muchos de los productos que uso que me fascinan y creo que a ustedes les ayudarán también a hacer loncheras perfectas para sus nenes. La mayoría de los productos que hoy les traigo los tengo, los que no tengo, los quiero porque me parecen super chéveres. ¡Vengan a ver!

1. YUMBOX BENTO LUNCH BOX: Me gané un set de loncheras Yumbox comenzando el último año escolar y a todos nos encantan. Las bandejitas (con compartimientos) se pueden intercambiar con la que tienen menos compartimientos por ejemplo, así que si tienen un sandwich si cabe también. He incluido un par de productos más Yumbox en esta lista (pueden ver el ver número 4 y número 10).

 

2. EASY LUNCHBOXES: Uno de los primeros envases para loncheras que conseguí y todavía uso contantemente. Son super fáciles de usar y siento que es básico tenerlos para hacer loncheras chéveres. También hablé de ellos cuando escribí sobre Momables aquí.

 

 

3. PLANET BOX:  Estoy super interesada en estas loncheras, siempre veo como Weelicious las usa (en su feed) tan  eficazmente y siempre se ven super apetitosas, me gusta el set que viene con la bolsita también. Creo que el tener muchos compartimentos es una gran ayuda.

 

4. YUMBOX MINI: Nuestro set de Yumbox incluyó estos mini. ¡Son tan lindos y útiles! A veces les incluyo el envase grande de Yumbox y éste también en la lonchera. En este mini les cabe la meriendita de la mañana o de la tarde muy bien.

 

5. EASY LUNCHBOXES MINIS: Estos potecitos super chiquitos son muy útiles, a veces los lleno con salsita para que hagan dip o con frutas pequeñas o galleticas saladas, ¡lo que sea! Cuando hay espacio que sobra en los demás compartimientos grandes pero uno quiere separar la comida, éstos potecitos son bien prácticos.

 

6. RUBBERMAID LUNCHBOX SANDWICH KIT: Me gustaría tener un set de estos porque a veces quiero ponerles todo por separado para que quepa bien en las loncheras que son más altas (como la número 12) o simplemente para colocar otros snacks dentro de sus loncheras por separado.

 

 

 

7. OMIEBOX:  Yo hice una reseña de la lonchera OmieBox cuando todavía era un proyecto en Kickstarter. ¡La verdad es genial!!! Pueden tener comida caliente adentro combinada con otros comida fría sin mezclarse. O, pueden tener todo frío, es super versátil. Todavía tenemos una que si la usamos, vale la pena!

 

8. GREEN PAXX: Éstos supeustamente son moldes para hacer chupi-chupis (popsicles) pero los usamos realmente como potecitos para meter cualquier cosa en el almuerzo. Son divertidos para los nenes, se pueden llenar con zanahorias, nueces, galleticas, cualquier cosa chiquita!

 

9. BOLSITAS DE SNACKS REPAC: En la casa hemos reducido con éxito el uso de bolsitas de plástico así que estas bolsas reutilizables son perfectas para los snacks! Tenemos los mismos colores exactos que en la foto, los conseguí en la Earth Fair (Feria del día de la Tierra) la última vez que fuimos a Balboa Park.

 

10. LONCHERA YUMBOX: Cuando gané el premio Yumbox estas loncheras también estaban en el set y las amo, les cabe el Yumbox o el EasyLunchboxes perfectamente horizontal. No me gustan las loncheras que tienes que meter los recipientes verticalmente porque vuelven un desastre la comida!! También les puedo decir que estas bolsas duran bastante, pero les recomiendo que compren la negra porque no se pone tan sucia. Adrian tiene una naranja y se ve horrible de sucia después de todo un año escolar.

 

11. LONCHERA WILDKIN:  A esta lonchera le cabe de todo (Aparte que viene en diseños preciosos!). Esta también la compré porque le caben los envases horizontales, le cabe el EasyLunchbox y el tamaño grande de Yumbox, y además el espacio de arriba le cabe una botella de agua pequeña y más snacks!

 

12. LONCHERA (CONGELADOR) PACKIT: Realmente quisiera comprar esta lonchera, no la tengo todavía, pero creo que es muy útil sobretodos para el campamento de verano, cuando a veces los niños se quejan de que el almuerzo estaba muy aguado o derretido o demasiado caliente. Esta lonchra se puede congelar completica (solo la bolsa, se dobla todita) y así ayuda a mantener todo frío como una mini cava hasta la hora del almuerzo.

 

13. CUTEZCUTE PALILLOS DE ANIMALES:  Sigo a Laura de Momables por todos lados, en su blog y en social media y da muchas ideas, además tengo 2 de sus libros, y por ella me enteré de estos palitos tan cuchi, que son útiles, reusables y los nenes se emocionan con ellos, así que super recomendados!

Pueden ver algunas de las loncherasusadas en la vida real que les puse en la lista en las fotos de este post, a veces les tomo fotos a las loncheras de los niños porque me siento tan emocionada y orgullosa de como me quedaron LOL!
