Dove Quench Absolute Hair Products Review

Dove Hair is a trusted brand that can be found in a lot of stores which is great because I don’t have to drive far to find good hair products.

I tried the NEW Dove Advanced Hair Series Quench Absolute. This collection is a 3-step system to cleanse, nourish, and treat hair, providing 4X more defined natural curls vs. non-conditioning shampoo: Shampoo, Conditioner (or Restoration Mask), and Crème Serum.

My favorite of the four products has to be the conditioner. I haven’t tried a very moisturizing conditioner before! I love it and recommend it if your curls are dry like mine.

I am not usually a fan of shampoos, my hair is already dry which is why I usually use it just once a week. But with the Quench Absolute Shampoo my hair feels super smooth (I’m not exaggerating!), so I don’t have a problem using it every time I wash my hair.

Shampoos and conditioners are important for your curly hair treatment, but the key for great curls are the products you use afterwards… The ones you leave in. I’ve learned that anything can go, you just have to try it and see if it works on your own hair.

By just try it I mean try it in a way that works for you. For example, I tried the Quench Absolute Restoration Mask as a mask and it worked nicely on my hair. But when I tried the same product as a leave-in conditioner- even though the product doesn’t say it can be used as that- I liked the result even more! So I adapted how to use the product for my own hair.

By far I am loving how these new products leave my hair, I use all 4 but I recommend the Mask and Creme Serum and use it both as leave-in… See how it works on your hair!

Detrás de un pelo rizado muy lindo tiene que haber un gran producto. Sí, el pelo rizado necesita protección, alimento y cuidado para que se vea muy bien. Así que yo siempre me emociono cuando sale un producto nuevo que puedo usar en mi pelo.

Dove es una marca grande y de confianza y que se puede encontrar en muchas tiendas lo cual me gusta porque así no tengo que ir a un lugar especializado para comprar un producto para mi pelo.

Probé la nueva línea de Dove para el pelo rizado: Quench Absolute que tiene 3 pasos: Champú, Acondicionador (o Mascarilla de Restauración) y Crème Serum.

Mi producto favorito de estos cuatro es el acondicionador, no he probado un acondicionador tan suavecito como este! Me encanta y lo recomiendo si tus rulos son secos como los míos.

Y el champú, no soy muy fanática de los champús porque para mi pelo seco los champús me lo dejan aún más seco, así que por lo general lo uso una vez a la semana, pero este Quench Absolute Shampoo me gustó y lo sentí muy suave también (no estoy exagerando!) así que no tengo ningún problema en usarlo cada vez que me lavo el pelo.

A pesar de que el champú y el acondicionador son importantes en el tratamiento del pelo rizado la clave para unos rizos bien hechos y bonitos son los productos que nos ponemos después, los que se dejan en el pelo. Y he aprendido que aquí no hay reglas que sólo tienes que probar y ver si funciona en su propio pelo.

Al decir no hay reglas quiero decir que no importa lo que digan las etiquetas, usa el producto de la manera en que a tí te acomode mejor. Por ejemplo, la mascarilla de Restauración Quench yo la usé como una mascarilla y me gustó, chévere, pero también, aunque no dice que es una crema sin enjuague la usé así y me gustó mucho más como me quedó el pelo! Así que adapté el producto para mi propio pelo.

Por el momento me están gustando cómo estos nuevos productos de Dove dejaron de mi pelo, yo estoy usando los 4 pero la máscara y la crema serum les recomiendo que las prueben como cremas sin enjuague las dos! A ver como les funciona a ustedes!
