A little bit before summer started I took Adrian to Disneyland, we only had the opportunity of 2 tickets (me and a +1) and decided that I should be the one to go with Adrian since Maya is too little to really enjoy it as much as him.
I have to admit, I was kind of worried that I would be bored at some point. I started calling my friend Ana to see if she was going to go with Camila (her daughter and one of Adrian’s best friends) so we would have fun the 4 of us. Up to this point I’ve never been to Disneyland by myself with one of the kids and when we go he loves to do stuff with Derek a lot and viceversa. In fact, in general I think he bonds a lot with Derek in many situations.
Well my friend Ana wasn’t able to make it and off we went by ourselves, I didn’t tell Adrian where we were going, he guessed it when he started seeing signs once we were really close, he was so anxious to know! When he guessed he told me: Oooh! Mami, I think I know what the surprise is and I’m so excited I can’t tell you, I can’t tell you! From this moment on all my fears went away.
We weren’t even in the park yet and started taking pictures together and sharing them in social media everywhere. I let him grab the map and lead the way… Tell me where do you want to go first hijo?
We started at the Pirate’s Lair Island (which has been his favorite for several years now), then we went to many places, then visited Cars Land for the very first time and finished at “A Bug’s Land”. I spoiled him and he spoiled me, and at the end I felt that day was so needed, it was AMAZING. I recommend it so much if you have more than one child to have a day like this with one of them anywhere, just you two doing something you both like, I really wont forget it and I’m excited for many more days like this in the future!

Un día sorpresa maravilloso con Adri

Un poco antes de que empezara el verano me fuí yo sola con Adri a Disneyland, solo teníamos la oportunidad de 2 entradas (yo y un acompañante) y decidimos que me fuera con Adrian ya que Maya está todavía chiquita y él lo iba a aprovechar más.
Tengo que admitir que estaba medio preocupada de que me iba a aburrir sola con él. Empezé a llamar a mi amiga Ana a ver si iba con Camila (Una de las amiguitas de Adri) y así pasarla con ellas también. Hasta este momento nunca he ido a Disneyland sola con uno de los niños y cuando hemos ido a Adrian le encanta hacer cosas con Derek y viceversa. De hecho ellos 2 salen más juntos solos…
Pues resulta que Ana no podía ir y nos fuimos Adri y yo, no le dije a Adri para donde íbamos, fué sorpresa, lo adivinó cuando estábamos llegando y vió las señales en la calle, estaba tan ansioso en todo el camino sin saber! Cuando adivinó me dijo: Ay Mami!!!!! Ya creo que se cual es la sorpresa y estoy muy emocionado, no creo que te lo pueda decir!! Desde ese momento en adelante mis miedos se fueron.
No habíamos llegado al parque cuando ya nos habíamos tomado muchas fotos juntos y las compartí en todos lados en las redes sociales. Le di el mapa y lo dejé que nos llevara… Hijo, adonde quieres ir primero?
Empezamos por la isla Pirate’s Lair (la cual ha sido la favorita de Adrian por varios años ya), luego fuimos a muuuchos otros lugares pasamos por Cars Land (a conocerla por primera vez!) y terminamos en “A Bug’s Land”. Lo consentí y me consintió, al final del día sentí que ese día lo necesitábamos, fué CHEVERISIMO y lo recomiendo mucho, especialmente si tienen más de 1 hijo(a), tengan un día así, vayan a donde sea solos ustedes dos. De verdad siempre me acordaré de ese día y ahora me emociona mucho pensar en otros días así en el futuro.
