We’re back!!! But from where???
Well, we didn’t leave town for the summer but we did have many activities. Now I realize how time went by so quick and I kept accumulating pictures and I didn’t post. I also changed computers and I’m in between new photo software, I have Adobe Lightroom and it looks great but I have to dedicate it some time to learn it and transfer all my photo catalog there. Ok, I’m sure you don’t want to know about that right now so here I go.
For those who don’t know, Adrian’s last test results where fine, now we’re waiting to get it all together and finally go to a neurologist, will keep you posted!
In short, here are some of Adrian’s adventures. Summer is almost over and I’m feeling sad about that 🙁 …I LOVE SUMMER!!
We had a party at home, celebrating my birthday, Jorge’s birthday (brother in law) and a housewarming! Adrian had lots of friends to play with and had so much fun, we did as well. We got a new BBQ and ate delicious food with the company of great family and friends. More pictures here.
I got a great gift from my mom and my sister that morning. It was a basket of healthy snacks, a camel pack (for drinking water while you jog) and a workout outfit. Aren’t gift baskets exciting? I loooved it!!
We went to visit the Gillespies in San Diego and Adrian practiced his new swimming skills. he went to classes for 2 weeks everyday with Derek. He is fearless in the water. He learned how to hold his breath underneath, how to jump, how to kick and paddle. He loves it!
“Abu” spoiling Adrian one day for breakfast, “ya que el niño pobrecito no quiso comer en su sillita, se lo damos aquí”. “Since the baby didn’t want to eat at his high chair, she can feed him in bed” You know, this is what grandmas are for.
His new toy: “THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE”. We got them as a gift from a client of Derek’s and this has been a hit! Grandma Phillys got him a new engine with a dvd addition and he loves it. He wakes up every morning and says “Where’s Thoma? He’s saying little phrases now! It’s amazing how much he speaks, he surprises us everyday with new words: clock, dark, cold, etc. It’s hard to keep counting!
It’s well known that Thomas is Derek’s favorite toy too!
I have one more big event to tell you about and it’s that we went to Disneyland yesterday!!!! It’s subject for another post, it was an excellent summer adventure!!!
