And we have arrived to Maya’s fourth year! I can’t believe this. We all keep saying it everywhere, they grow so fast, they grow so fast. Yes they do.
Their birthdays makes me miss them as babies and even more so when I look at these monthly pictures I did for 2 years. Such a cutie!
The top closeup picture is very Maya, she does like to smile for the photos but this one shows a little more of her attitude, she has a quite the temper and when things are not her way she gets upset. Right now she is very very very attached to her little “bunny blankie” so I love that she got it in the photo. Compared to her 3 year old picture her face and expressions are definitely more mature.
I’m glad I’ve kept this chair, and now I realize I want to keep it forever so I can photograph her in it. Plus taking pictures of both of them is kind of a ritual too. Adrian always wants to join so it records the two of them, I like that a lot.
Oh and she doesn’t own any clothing that is brown at the moment so I went with what she was wearing but Photoshopped the purple dress on the little pictures so it wouldn’t stand out more than the rest 🙂
Maya had lots of birthday celebrations, we celebrated for a week on different places and with different people. I’ll be showing you her celebrations with more pictures in another post.

Y hemos llegado al cuarto año de Maya! No lo puedo creer. Todo el mundo dice por todos lados que crecen tan rápido y sí es así.
Sus cumpleaños me hacen extrañar de cuando eran bebés y más cuando veo estas fotos que hice durante 2 años mes a mes. Que cuchura!
La primera foto de arriba es muy Maya, a ella le gusta sonreír en las fotos, pero esta foto muestra un poquito más de como es ella y su actitud, ella tiene un carácter bastante fuerte y cuando las cosas no se dan a su manera, pues sálvense quien pueda! En este momento está muy muy muy apegada a su “bunny blankie” así que me encanta que lo enseñó en la foto. En comparación con su foto de 3 años su carita cara y sus expresiones son definitivamente de niña más grande.
Me alegra que todavía tengo esta silla, y ahora me doy cuenta de que quiero guardarla para siempre, así puedo seguir tomando estas fotos. Además ahora tomar fotos de los dos es una especie de ritual porque Adri siempre quiere unirse así que se las tomo a los dos también, eso me gusta mucho.
Ah, y Maya no tiene nada de color marrón ahorita así que le tomé fotos con lo que tenía puesto, pero en las fotos chiquitas le cambié el color en Photoshop para que no resaltara mucho de las demás.
Maya tuvo un montón de fiestas de cumpleaños, celebramos durante una semana en diferentes lugares y con diferentes personas (lo que le decimos unas fiestas patronales). Les mostraré sus celebraciones con más fotos en otro post.
