I can’t get enough of looking at the sunset and capturing it with my camera. I know I’ve always loved it but I realized lately that I am kind of addicted to those photos and it’s ok because it’s not a terrible addiction to have, besides San Diego is the perfect place to admire them.
One day in december I took the kids to Mission Bay right around the sunset and it was perfect, they rode their scooters, played in the park and I took photos. That day I also realized how sunsets have different stages.
I used to take photos right when the sun was hitting the horizon and the I would put camera away and leave — it’s over I would say. But this time since we were still walking around the bay and the kids were active I was still looking at how beautiful the sky was and kept taking my camera out. Some of these sunset pictures are after the sun is down and it created a beautiful colored sky plus beautiful silhouettes.
So now I enjoy the sunsets even more plus the winter sunsets are the best ones here in San Diego, it’s a treat almost every day.

Me fascinan los atardeceres y más aún tomarles fotos. Sé que siempre me ha gustado, pero me di cuenta de que últimamente estoy como adicta a tomarle fotos y bueno no está tan mal tener esa adicción no? además aquí en San Diego es el lugar perfecto para verlos y admirarlos.
Un día en diciembre me llevé a los niños a Mission Bay mas o menos a la hora en que iba a atardecer y fue perfecto, ellos se llevaron sus scooters, pasearon y jugaron en el parque y yo disfruté muchísimo tomando fotos. Ese día también me di cuenta de que los atardeceres tienen varias etapas.
Yo solía tomar fotos justo cuando el sol estaba escondiéndose bajo el horizonte, después de ahí guardaba mi cámara y ya, listo el pollo. Pero esta vez como todavía estábamos caminando alrededor de la bahía con los niños y paseando me di cuenta de la belleza del cielo y seguí tomando fotos. Algunas de estas fotos aquí en este post son del atardecer cuando el sol ya se ocultó y creó una maravilla de cielo y unas siluetas muy bellas.
Así que ahora disfruto aún más de los atardeceres, aquí en San Diego los de invierno son los mejores, es un regalo casi todos los días.
