Over here in California the weather doesn’t change thaaat much during the year, but for me, somebody that comes from the Caribbean sun, it does change a lot.
So when Spring arrives and it starts getting warmer I get excited, changing wardrobes according to the seasons is still kind of new and fun for me. I already have taken care of kid’s Spring outfits so it’s time for Mami’s! 😉
I got excited to partner with Kohl’s, choosing Spring style outfits for me that hopefully, will inspire you too.
I went to the store with my friend Vanessa and it was the best decision ever! Because going shopping with a friend is much better than going by yourself. We don’t know how it happened (well, we do know hehe) but we spent about 5 hours in there, by the time we were out we felt like we did a workout and we were starving!!
The time spent was well worth it, we both came out with great things. My first outfit, the jean dress, is from Sonoma Goods for Life, I also got the shoes and the necklace at Kohl’s, I love how it all looks together plus the necklace can go with almost anything else!

Looking at lots of the clothes in the store, I can see that this year’s Spring trend is to be very relaxed and hey, I’m all about that!!! One thing I like to do and that helps when choosing outfits at a store is looking at how the brands have put it together in posters and in mannequins, then I go ahead and imitate it.
I literally copied the relaxed outfit from the Sonoma Goods poster (the one with the gray hoody below). I really wasn’t planning on getting something like that so simple, but I just loved how the woman looked in that poster so I decided to try it and it worked!! I would never have picked white on white but I did and I love it!
Then the other pieces I got can be mixed and matched together, they are all mostly from Sonoma brand, the super comfy t-shirts and the orange buttoned shirt are more than comfortable. They can go with the white capri pants or the white bermudas.
Lauren Conrad has the cutest flip flops, I got the gold ones but they come in many many different colors and patterns, my friend Vanessa found so many cute ones and got like 4 styles, because you can’t beat the prize!

Por aquí en California el clima no cambia mucho durante el año, pero para mí, alguien que vivió por muchos en el solsito del Caribe, sí es bastante el cambio.
Así que cuando llega la primavera y empieza a estar más calientico el clima, me emociono. El cambiar de ropa según las estaciones sigue siendo algo novedoso y divertido para mí. Ya los niños tienen sus ropitas de esta estación, así que le toca a la mami! 😉
Por eso me emocioné con esta oportunidad de Kohl’s, para elegir ropa de primavera para mí y así espero poder inspirarlas a ustedes también.
Fui a la tienda con mi amiga Vanessa y fue la mejor decisión! Es que ir de compras con una amiga es mucho mejor que ir sola. No sabemos cómo (bueno si sabemos jeje), pero pasamos unas 5 horas ahí adenrto, una vez que salimos sentimos como si hubiéramos hecho ejercicios y estábamos muertas de hambre!!
El tiempo que estuvimos bien valió la pena, ambas salimos con ropita muy chévere. Mi primer outfit, el vestido de jean, es de Sonoma Goods for Life. Los zapatos y el collar con que me lo puse también los encontré en Kohl’s, me encanta como se ve todo junto, y además el collar pega con casi cualquier otra cosa!
Viendo toda la rop que tienen en la tienda ahorita pude observar que la tendencia de primavera de este año tiende a ser muy relajada y por mi no hay problema! Una cosa que me gusta hacer y que ayuda a la hora de elegir outfits en una tienda es ver como las marcas han combinado ciertas piezas en sus afiches y en los maniquíes, si me gusta, lo copio tal cual.
Yo, literalmente me copié el outfit relajado del afiche de la marca Sonoma (el que aparece la mujer con blanco y tiene el sueter gris). Realmente no estaba pensando en comprarme algo así tan sencillo, pero me encantó la forma en que la mujer se veía en ese afiche vale, así que decidí probarlo y funcionó!! Yo nunca habría elegido blanco con blanco pero lo hice y me encanta!
Las otras piezas que recibí se pueden mezclar y combinar entre sí, la mayoría son de la marca Sonoma, las franelas y la camisita naranja de botones y bolsillos son más que cómodas. Pueden combinarse fácilemente con los pantalones cotos blancos o los bermudas blancos.
Lauren Conrad tiene las cholitas (flip flops) super lindas, yo las compré doradas (las puedes ver en la foto donde tengo los pantalones blancos con camisita aguamarina) pero vienen en muchos colores y estampados diferentes; mi amiga Vanessa encontró tantos lindos y agarró como 4 diferentes, es que el precio no se podía superar!
