I love to entertain out on the patio, and even though we have a small space, we take advantage of it. With the warm weather, we can now finally hang out more often out there, yay!The other day I had the idea to do a games night out on the patio and what can I say, I think we’ll be repeating it lots of times this year because we had a blast.

The idea was to try out the new TIKI Brand tabletop products and they helped ignite the cozy and nice setting for us to have the best family game time ever!!

Here is what made the “Game Night” special and super fun:

I didn’t take too much time at all preparing these, I grabbed some bread, toasted it and added pink sauce, cheese, turkey, avocado and hard boiled eggs. Derek and the kids loved them because it’s something different than what I usually do so they were excited to grab them. I also made popcorn, we all love it, it’s a classic we never get tired of!

So make a “new-to-you” appetizer, something you usually don’t serve, they will be even more excited during the Games Night!

We don’t have much space as you can see, so we decided to play cards this time. We played Crazy Eights which is a game you can play with any deck of cards. Adrian also wanted to play Poker with the cards and that’s because we’ve been playing at my father-in-law’s lately and he’s got the Poker bug.

Make the games easy peasy, especially if you have little kids, an idea is to grab a basket and place some games in there so everybody can choose and decide within the basket.

The TIKI Brand products we used were Clean Burn Firepieces and Table Torches, they do exactly that, light the area and warm it up! And don’t be scared of them, I was able to turn those on super easily using their own Clean Burn plant-based fuel. It releases less
smoke and they last for a long time.

When we were done and we turned them off I was amazed at how dark it got!! If it wasn’t for the light from the Firepieces and torches we wouldn’t be able to play for so long out there!

As you can see, it really doesn’t take much to enjoy your own space even if it’s small. Why wait for guests to come, use the space whenever you feel like it, be a family game night, dinner, get together to tell stories or share reading time!

Me encanta entretener en el patio, a pesar de que tenemos un espacio bien chiquito, si aprovecho todo el espacio. Ahora con el clima calientico podemos por fin disfrutarlo más a menudo, yei! El otro día tuve la idea de hacer una noche de juegos en el patio y lo que les puedo decir es que creo que vamos a repetirlo muchas veces este verano porque la pasamos cheverísimo.La idea era probar los nuevos productos de mesa de TIKI Brand y así ayudaron a decorar y poner el patio bien acogedor y agradable para que la pasáramos chévere en familia.

Esto es lo que hizo la “Noche de juegos” divertida y muy especial:

No le dediqué mucho tiempo a la preparación de los entremeses, agarré pan de sandwich, lo tosté y le puse salsa rosada, queso, jamón de pavo, aguacate y huevos duros. A Derek y a los niños les encantaron porque es algo diferente a lo que suelo hacer, así que estaban contentos comiendo y comiendo. También hice cotufas (palomitas de maíz), que a todos nos gusta, y es un clásico del cual nunca nos cansamos.

Así que la idea es hacer un aperitivo que sea nuevo para ustedes, algo que por lo general no coman, y así se emocionan más durante la noche de juegos.

No tenemos tanto espacio como pueden ver, por lo que decidimos jugar a las cartas. Jugamos Crazy Eights (Ochos locos?) que es un juego se puede jugar con cualquier juego de cartas. Adrian también quería jugar poker con las cartas y es porque hemos estado jugando poker con mi suegro y mis cuñadas ultimamente y le gustó.

Juega juegos fáciles, especialmente si tienes niños pequeños, otra idea que les doy es agarrar una cesta y colocar algunos juegos allí para que todos puedan elegir y decidir de ahí mismo.

Los productos de la marca de TIKI que usamos fueron los Clean Burn Firepieces y Table Torches, que hacen exactamente eso, brindan luz y calientan el ambiente! Y no les tengan miedo, yo los pude prender bien fácilmente utilizando el combustible a base de plantas Clean Burn que ellos venden. Libera menos humo y duran por mucho más tiempo.

Cuando terminamos y las apagamos ¡me sorprendió lo oscuro que estaba! Si no fuera por la luz de las antorchas no hubiéramos podido jugar durante tanto tiempo en el patio!

Como puede ver, en realidad no hace falta mucho para disfrutar de sus propios espacios, incluso si es pequeño. ¿Y para qué esperar a que vengan invitados? Utilicen el espacio cada vez que quieran, ya sea una noche de juegos en familia, la cena, una reunioncita para conversar o para compartir tiempo de lectura juntos!
