It has been such a long time since we didn’t take a
family portrait, about 5 years to be more precise! I had been looking on and off for a photographer I really liked to this but it was never something urgent so I just kept going without family photos.
But then came
Alex Clark and knocked at my door -or email ;)- and asked me if I wanted to collaborate with her, I took a brief look at her work on her beautiful website and her
photos on Instagram and I knew I would do it right away!
So we met her at the perfect setting:
Cardiff by the Sea where she had planned her mini sessions for that day.
I was super excited to do this because I’m always behind the lens as you know. Alex is so down to earth, she knows what to say and what to do so we could all look at our best. She had several props ready to be used, very well prepared to deal with the little ones too.
Time goes by very quick during the session, I even thought, wow, that’s it?! I wonder if there are enough photos!! And yes, of course, there were enough and amazing.
I love the results so much, I think I am showing you almost all of them here, only about 3 or 4 I didn’t include in the post. Don’t ask me which ones I will print big because I still haven’t decided, if you have suggestions let me know!
Alex Clark says that she loves bright airy photos that are classic, organic and modern. And I agree, don’t you think that describes our photos exactly? If you are in San Diego and are thinking of taking family photos or maternity or newborn, contact Alex, I am sure you will fall in love with your pictures as much as I am!

FOTOS DE FAMILIA POR ALEX CLARK PHOTOGRAPHY
Había pasado muchísimo tiempo desde que no nos tomábamos unas
fotos profesionales de familia, unos 5 años para ser más exactos. Yo había estado buscando mas o menos aquí y allá a fotógrafos que me gustaran pero la verdad nunca con urgencia, así que seguíamos sin fotos familiares.
Pero entonces llegó
Alex Clark a tocarme la puerta, es decir a mandarme un email 😉 – y me preguntó si quería colaborar con ella, yo le fuí de inmediato a ver su trabajo en su hermoso website y sus
fotos en Instagram e inmediatamente decidí!
Así que nos encontramos en el sitio perfecto: la playa Cardiff by the Sea en donde ella había planeado sus sesiones “mini” de ese día.
Yo estaba súper emocionada de hacer esto porque como ya saben yo siempre estoy detrás del lente. Alex es muy chévere, sabe qué decir y qué hacer para que todos nos viéramos de lo mejor en las fotos. Tenía bastantes props listos para ser usados dependiendo del momento (a nosotros nos sentó en la cobija que me encantó!), todo muy bien preparado y buena para dirijir a los nenes también.
El tiempo pasa muy rápido durante la sesión, incluso pensé, wow, eso es todo?! Me pregunté si habrían suficientes fotos!! Y sí, por supuesto que sí, no sólo suficientes pero excelentes también.
Me encantaron tanto los resultados que creo que les estoy mostrando casi todas las fotos aquí, sólo faltan unas 3 o 4 que no puse en el post. No me pregunten cuáles voy a imprimir en grande porque todavía nosé, y si tiene alguna sugerencia porfavor ayúdenme!
Alex Clark dice que le encantan las fotos con colores vibrantes y aireados que son clásicas, orgánicas y modernas. Y estoy de acuerdo, ¿no les parece que describe nuestras fotos exactamente? Si están en San Diego y están pensando en tomarse fotos de familia o de maternidad o de recién nacido, póngase en contacto con Alex, estoy segurísima de que despues de una sesión se van a enamorar de sus fotos tanto como yo!
