Some flavors remain with us more that we realize. Many times by just closing my eyes and thinking about some of the many desserts we had during the family get-togethers many years ago, I can still smell them and even taste their delicious flavors!
These coconut and strawberry treats are one of those that I have the memory of how they smell. One of my aunts would prepare them in the shape of strawberries, they were her signature treats, she took them to all the birthday parties and family get-togethers, never failed, and those were my favorite; who would’ve thought that after so many years I would still think of those?
So I got to work and found out how they were made and prepared my own version. This time I thought about making them as little Christmas gifts, I think that adding the ornament top makes them so cute!
You wont believe how easy they are to make, no need to cook anything at all too, just mix the ingredients and make the little balls, that’s all!
