Maya’s Birthday Celebrations!

Can you believe Maya is four years old? Time flies… Check out her birth story!

Maya is definitely quite the personality around here, she is very very girly, she loves to dress-up pretty, she likes for me to do her hair, she wants to wear make-up already and she likes to have control of the situations, screaming stating out loud and clear whatever it is she needs. I am very curious to see how her personality will keep developing into!

Adrian said it was unfair because Maya had so many parties! And it might be true, but here is the thing, Maya’s social circle is at her daycare, she spends all day there and she has many friends, she loves it!

We love it too! And we love that we can have birthday parties over there, so it’s pretty easy, I got a cake, a piñata, we even got a jumper! And she had her little party on a weekday with all her friends.

I loved how the cake turned out, I had it made at Ralphs.

To Maya it was somehow confusing, her real birthday day was a Monday, we sang happy birthday, gave her a balloon and a cupcake, then her party at day care was on Wednesday (short day at school so i was able to pick-up Adrian to come too).

And then, that weekend we had a special picnic where we celebrated with the family! So, my girl was asking me and is today when we go to the picnic mami? No hija on Saturday, oh and today is my birthday and Saturday too? Poor thing, but at the end she had the best time!

Here are Maya’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd birthday celebrations.

Pueden creer que Maya ya tiene cuatro años! ¡El tiempo vuela! Miren, aquí está su historia de cuando nació.

Sin duda alguna la Mayita es una niña con una personalidad fuerte, es muy, muy coqueta, le encanta vestirse bonita con vestiditos, le gusta que le haga peinados, quiere usar maquillaje ya y le gusta tener todo bajo control, si no, se asegura de decirnos a gritos lo que quiere. Tengo mucha curiosidad de ver cómo se seguirá desarrollando su personalidad!

Ahorita que pasó su cumple, Adrian dijo que era injusto porque Maya tuvo muchas fiestas! Y tal vez sea cierto, pero el asunto es que el círculo social de Maya está en su guardería, ella pasa todo el día allí y ella tiene muchos amiguitos que adora.

A nosotros nos encanta el lugar también. Y nos encanta que podemos tener fiestas de cumpleaños ahí, es chévere porque es super fácil, compré una torta (pastel), una piñata, hasta un casita para brincar! Y entonces le hicimos a su fiestica en un día de semana con todos sus amiguitos en la guardería.

Por cierto que me encantó cómo quedó la torta, la compré en Ralphs.

Para Maya fué todo un poco confuso porque el día de su cumpleaños de verdad fue un lunes, ese día le cantamos feliz cumpleaños, le dimos un globo y un cupcake, y después la fiesta en la guardería fue el miércoles (día corto en la escuela, así que pude ir a buscar a Adrian para que viniera a la fiesta).

Después, ese fin de semana tuvimos un picnic especial para celebrar sólo con la familia. Y entonces, la Mayita me preguntaba en su cumple, ¿Mami y hoy vamos al picnic? ¿Viene Abu? No hija el sábado… Ah ¿y hoy es mi cumpleaños y el sábado también? Pobrecita, pero al final ¡se la pasó muy chévere!
