Do What You Can: Wordless Wednesday

Last week Adrian was sick, he spent almost the whole week with me at home. I’m thankful that I can take care of him without having to ask for days off at a job or something like that but it takes a toll, and even though he is pretty good, I fall behind work and felt cabin fever.

He’s ok and off to school this week but now it’s Maya’s turn to catch the bug, oh no! The thing is they are not so bad, some fever at the beginning and then a cold and cough.

Yesterday morning I took Adrian to school with maya in the car still in PJs but before we went home I decided to stop at The Coffee Bean since I was anxious to try their new Latte Macchiatos with gift card from Klout (thank you!). We stayed there for a bit, got her some milk and when it was time to leave I realized I left the car keys inside the locked car. Boo.

Thankfully Derek has a copy and he got out of work and came and rescued us! Anyways, that was the biggest part of our day yesterday, me with Maya in Pjs at the coffee shop and then just wondering about and back home where I worked a little and Maya is a little better too. You got to do what you can.

Oh and the Macchiato was DELICIOUS!

Se hace lo que se puede

La semana pasada Adri estuvo enfermo, se pasó casi toda la semana conmigo en la casa. Estoy agradecida de que lo puedo cuidar sin tener que pedir días libres en un trabajo o algo así, pero cuando son muchos días llega un momento en que ya me canso y aunque él se porta muy bien, me atraso en el trabajo y me empiezo a sentir con claustrofobia.

Él está bien y ya esta semana regresó al colegio, pero ahora es el turno de Maya que agarró el virus 🙁 El asunto es que no les ha dado muy fuerte, un poco de fiebre al principio y luego gripe con la nariz muy tupida y tos.

Ayer por la mañana llevé a Adrian al colegio con Maya en el carro todavía en piyamas, pero antes de regresar a la casa decidí ir al Coffee Bean porque es que tenía ganas de probar sus nuevos Macchiatos con una tarjeta de regalo departe de Klout (gracias!). Nos quedamos allí un ratico y Maya se tomó una lechita pero cuando era hora de irnos me di cuenta que dejé las llaves del carro adentro del carro cerrado, buuu.

Afortunadamente Derek tiene una copia y se salió del trabajo vino y nos salvó! Esa fue la parte más interesante de nuestro día de ayer,  Maya en piyamas y yo yo (con ropa de vestir cabe destacar) en el cafecito y luego simplemente nos regresamos a la casa, donde trabajé un poco y Maya ya está mejorcita. Se hace lo que se puede.

Ah, y el Macchiato estaba DELICIOSO!
