Colorful Still Life: Wordless Wednesday

I made these colorful trays a while ago. I posted the tutorial on Spoonful. I really really love them, I feel identified with them so much, the colors are very me. I was so happy with the results that day that when I was photographing them I brought more props and just had fun taking extra pictures, I thought: One day I’ll use them for something… I haven’t used them except for today but I’m sure I’ll get to use them again sometime in the future!

I bring these up today because I’m taking a new photography about for still life, food and crafts for bloggers, it’s called Superstar with Jackie Rueda, I’ve taken classes with her before and super recommend them. I had to look into my library of still life images to post one for the class and stumbled upon these so I thought they are cool to share here today.

Classes keep us challenged, inspired and help us grow; I love photography and I try to improve on it every day. Sometimes I feel I am stuck taking the same style of pictures every day and that’s why I need to keep learning more and keep practicing and practicing!

Yo hice estas bandejas hace un tiempo para Spoonful, allí puse el paso a paso. De verdad que me gustan mucho, me siento tan identificada con ellas y con estas fotos, los colores que tienen son muy “Dariela” 🙂 Tan emocionada estaba con los resultados que el día que estaba tomando las fotos saqué más props y tomé más fotos aunque no las necesitaba, pensé: Bueno algún día las usaré para algo porque me gustan mucho…  No las he usado aún excepto por hoy pero seguro otro día se usan de nuevo. 

Se las enseño hoy porque ahora mismo estoy tomando un curso de fotografía enfocado en naturaleza muerta, comida y manualidades para bloggers, se llama Superstar de Jackie Rueda y lo recomiendo muuuucho, ya yo he tomado cursos con Jackie y son demasiado buenos. Tuve que buscar en mi biblioteca de fotos de naturaleza muerta y vi estas así que pensé en compartirlas hoy aquí.

Tomar clases nos desafía, nos inspira y nos permite crecer; a mi me fascina tanto la fotografía y trato de mejorar cada día. Muchas veces siento que estoy estancada tomando el mismo tipo de foto todo el tiempo y por eso, sigo tomando clases y practicando mucho!
