Family pictures

It’s really really hard to get a picture with the 4 of us in it these days and I usually try to get one every year during the holidays. Well, I kind of failed this year 🙁 BUT, at least I have some pictures were we are with the kids although not together. We did try to pose for one picture during New year’s but you can not imagine how hard it was mostly for Adrian to pose, (well, if you have a 6 y/o almost going on 13 you might know what it’s like) Maya is all smiles and poses at the photo time but Adrian is Mr I don’t want to, and he moves like he had something inside him. Oh well, we tried, all the pictures are blurry and hopefully I will get a new camera soon that will help with the low light+moving subjects equation.

You might not be interested in this, but I’ve talked about my love/hate relationship with my 50mm lens that won’t automatically focus because my camera doesn’t have it… Too long to explain, the matter of the fact is that I need a new camera and maybe writing it here might help, you never know who might be selling one that really fits my bill right?

Ok, sorry, it wasn’t my intention to keep talking about my camera in this post!! Here are what we have for our family pictures for the 2012 holidays and with this I wont post anymore about the past holidays. Onward with 2013! Happy New Year!

Ultimamente ha sido muy muy dificil lograr que estemos juntos los 4 en una foto. Siempre trato de tomar una durante las navidades pero este año fallé 🙁 PERO… Al menos tenemos fotos donde salimos los 4 aunque no juntos todos, algo es algo. Traté bastante el 31 pero no se imaginan lo dificil que es que Adrian se quede tranquilo y sonría (bueno, si tienen un niño de 6 años que pareciera de 13, estoy segura que sí!), en cambio Maya colabora mucho hoy en día y posa de mil maneras. Bueno, tratamos y quedaron todas borrosas, ayudará mucho cuando tenga una cámara nueva que ayude más cuando hay luz baja y sujetos inquietos.

A lo mejor no están muy interesados en el porqué, pero ya les he comentado acerca de mi relación amor/odio con mi lente de 50mm que cuando lo uso no enfoca automáticamente debido a que mi cámara no tiene el auto foco… En fín, largo de explicar, la cosa es que necesito una nueva cámara y quien sabe, a lo mejor y contándolo aquí me ayuda, a lo mejor y alguno de ustedes está vendiendo una cámara perfecta para mi?!

Ok, sorry, no era mi inteción seguir este tema en este post! Lo cierto es que he andado de semi-vacaciones estos días pasándola rico con familia y amigos y estoy desconcentrada!! Aquí les dejo las fotos que salieron bien de nuestras navidades del 2012 y les prometo que es el último post de navidades que hago. Empezemos el 2013, Feliz Año!!
