Is that time of the year again, Alt Summit is almost here! I love Alt but I wont be able to make it this year 🙁 I posted about how Alt Summit has a creativity explosion that happens in that conference, it is amazing and no other conference is like that. Today I decided to post the pictures I took last year during my experience at the Alt Summit Photo Walk that I hadn’t posted yet. And since it’s winter and cold (even in San Diego!) I think these pictures are perfect for the occasion!
The Photo Walk was organized by Tracey Clark, a great photographer, one of the founders of Shutter Sisters and writer of Elevate Everyday book. We started informally chatting at the hotel, I loved the whole non-formal part of this. We were even doubting whether to go out and walk or not cause it was raining but decided to go anyways. As it happens, when it rains you can catch so many great photos on the reflexions and the mood of the whole day, I am glad we did go plus the hotel lent us big umbrellas that helped a lot. What was the hardest for me was the cold, walking with so many things on and gloves, hat, etc plus taking pictures at the same time is hard!
It’s always so fun to see the different results in everybody’s photos and it was great to meet more people one on one with no rush at the conference. If you go to a conference that offers a Photo Walk I encourage you to go!

Llegó el momento otra vez! Alt Summit ya casi está aquí! A mi me encanta Alt pero este año no podré ir 🙁 Yo les había contado acerca de esta conferencia y de como Alt Summit es una explosión de creatividad, la verdad no hay ninguna otra así. Así que hoy decidí enseñarles las fotos que tomé el año pasado en un Photo Walk que hice en Alt Summit y contarles un poquito acerca de mi experiencia ya que no lo había hecho. Y como estamos en invierno (hasta en San Diego está helado!) creo que estas fotos están perfectas!
La caminata (Photo Walk) fué organizada por Tracey Clark, una fotógrafa buenísima, fundadora de Shuter Sisters y escritora del libro Elevate Everyday. Empezamos conversando informalmente en el hotel antes de salir, a mi me encantó esta charla informal porque no era estilo clase. De hecho estábamos dudando en salir porque estaba lloviendo pero de todas maneras decidimos salir y la verdad que bueno porque resulta que cuando está lloviendo se hacen unos reflejos bellísimos para las fotos y las gotas de lluvia y la vibr del día es bella. El hotel nos prestó unos paraguas inmensos que además nos ayudaron mucho. Para mí lo más dificil fué el frío, caminar con abrigos inmensos encima, guantes, gorro y además la cámara, lentes, tomar fotos, fiuu, que dificil!
Siempre es chévere ver los resultados diferentes que tenemos todos en nuestras fotos y además conocer a gente con más calma durante la conferencia. Si a alguno de ustedes les toca ir a una conferencia donde ofrezcan una caminata de fotografía les recomiendo mucho que vayan!
