Thanksgiving center piece craft

This is my version of the Thankful tree. There are lots of versions of this craft, I found a nice one via Pinterest the other day from Simply Vintage Girl but I’ve seen it some other places as well… I wanted to make mine with leaves, remember I used to do for a couple of years the thankful leaves on the doorway too? Well, this is nice cause it’s mainly the same thing but on the dinner table and it can be set for decoration in another part for the house as well.

It is very easy to make, mainly find the dried sticks, get at least 3 leave templates from the internet (or they also sell die cutted leaves at the craft stores), cut them in nice scrapbook papers, write your thanks, add a string and hang them nicely. Use a nice flower pot or jar to hold them. I posted this on Que Rica Vida where you can find more step by step instructions.

Esta es mi versión del árbol de Arbol de hojas de Gracias. Hay muchas versiones de esta manualidad, yo encontré una recientemente via Pinterest aquí en Simply Vintage Girl pero si lo he visto por muchas partes… Quise hacer mi árbol con hojitas ya que me gustan mucho, se acuerdan que he hecho las hojitas solas por un par de años que cuelgan en el marco de una puerta? Bueno, esta versión es chévere porque así se puedde usar para centro de mesa o hasta para dejar de adorno durante todos estos días en otro lado de la casa.

Es muy fácil de hacer, se recolectan los palitos secos de árbol, se bajan al menos 3 patrones de hojas de la internet (o también venden hojas ya cortadas en las tiendas de manualidades). Se cortan las hojitas en papel tipo scrap, se escriben los agradeciemientos, se les abre huequitos y se guindan con hilito en el arbol. Se puede usar un florero de base o un frasco bonito. Yo escribí con más detalle el paso a paso en Que Rica Vida, pasen por allá que hay extra tips también.

Es una manualidad bien chévere porque siempre es bonito ver todas las gracias que escribimos o los dibujitos que los niños hacen 🙂 Espero quie tengan un feliz día de Acción de Gracias si lo celebran!
