LATISM Conference

Latinos in Social Media, that’s what LATISM stands for. This is a great organization that has keeps on growing ever since it started and I feel like part of the family– Even though it’s big you feel like you know everybody closely! They are the ones that created Top Blogueras and the ones that gave me a scholarship to be able to go to Blogher, my first conference ever!

And now, the Latism conference is coming up next week in Houston (10/25 to 10/27) and I am so looking forward to go! It’s the first time I will be assisting but I have heard only great things about it from the past.

I am particularly excited about this conference because it has a business focus, like you see in the pretty graphics they have, there is a Business Track, a Technology Track, a Health Track and an Education Track. My sister and me are working hard on our design business and networking and learning about anything business is perfect right now.

There will be great companies to network with, great friends to see (as always!) and I will be teaching a Photography workshop, this time along Rachel Matos from The Art Muse and one of the best parts is that I have dear family in Houston I’ll be able to hug and kiss! Yay! If you are interested in social media with a latin flair, come on over to Houston next week!! See you there!

LATISM significa Latinos en las redes sociales. Es una organización muy buena que sigue creciendo y creciendo desde que nació, y aunque es grande, yo siempre me he sentido como en familia! Es la misma organización que creó Top Blogueras y la que me patrocinó para ir a mi primera conferencia de blogging.

Y ahora, se acerca la conferecnia Latism la semana que viene en Houston (25/10 al 27/10), estoy contenta de poder ir! Será la primera vez que voy pero los comentarios de la del año pasado es que fué excelente, así que promete mucho! 

Lo que más me emociona es que esta conferencia tiene un foco más de negocios, como pueden ver en los gráficos onitos de ellos, hay un track de Negocios, uno de Salud, uno de Educación y uno de Tecnología. Mi hermana y yo estamos trabajndo much´ˆsimo ahorita en nuestra empresa de diseño y cualquier cosa de negocios que pueda aprender y que pueda conocer mas de cerca nos viene como anillo al dedo.

Habrán bastanets compannías presentes y porsupuesto amigos y amigas (como siempre!) a los que ver y esta vez dará un taller de fotografía con Rachel Matos de The Art Muse. Una de las partes que me emociona es que podré dar abrazos y besos a parte de mi familia querida que está en Houston, que chévere!
