Maya is in that stage where she talks a lot and we understand half and sometimes less. She does talk more in English but she understands everything in Spanish. There are repeated words on her vocabulary that are the cutest! I have 3 of them that I love and I don’t know why I feel like sharing this with everybody so here we go (promise to go aweee after eachone!):
- Instead of TV she says PB, sounds very similar no?
- The word for Telephone in Spanish is Teléfono, sounds very similar and she calls it Féfono, so so cute!
- And it seems that she is always explaining anything and everything, the words because is always in her mouth and he way of saying it is Becaushe.
I know, I know, this is so simple and such a mommy thing to post but I couldn’t help it! Sometimes I find myself saying the word so she can repeat it and I can listen to it over and over again!
I caught her on video this past weekend talking to herself in the mirror giving her directions for some type of dance… Take a look! And Bonus! At the 48 second mark she says her famous becaushe!

Maya está en la etapa en que habla como lorita pero le entendmos muchas veces la mitad o menos. Si habla más que todo inglés pero entiende perfectamente el español. Hay ciertas palabritas que dice en sus lenguaradas que me fascinan. Tengo una lista pequeña de 3 y nose porqué pero necesitaba compartilo con todo el mundo, aquí están (prometan decir ay que cuchi! después de cada una ok?!):
- En vez de TV (en inglés Tivi), dice PB (pronunciado Pibi)
- Para decir teléfono dice féfono!
- Y al parecer quiere dar explicaciones de todo ya que en inglés la palabra que significa Porqué es Because (pronunciado: bicos) y ella la dice a cada ratico pero así: Becaushe (pronunciado bicoshe)
Ya se, ya se, este post es sólo para decirles lo cuchi que es la niña, seré su mamá!!?? pero es que no lo pude evitar. Algunas veces le digo las palabritas mil veces para que las repita mil veces más y yo las pueda oir una y otra vez! tengo que aprovechar porque se que no durará y después las dirá todas bien.
La caché en este video de arriba el otro día dándole instrucciones a la “niña” en el espejo 🙂 Lo mejor de todo es que alrededor del segundo 48 dice su famosa palabra “becaushe!!
