When Adrian was going to his Spanish camp he needed to take his lunch every day and for me, it’s the first time preparing a lunch box for so many days in a row! All these years his daycare and preschool provided lunch and snacks so I didn’t have to prepare him anything.
But ever since I was pregnant I knew about Bento lunch boxes, I looked around at photos sometimes and I was amazed at the lunch boxes, how fun! I’ve always wanted to do it so I tried that week and I had so much fun! I’m loving it! Of course, Adrian loved it as well.
I didn’t do an art piece every day of the camp, but I enjoyed it a lot! I know, it’s something creative right up my alley but with food, and it feels so good that Adrian is going to love it, he was so excited he always wanted to help me make it. I want to keep doing them for when he goes to Kinder. Now I need to get more supplies, they have all kind of cute and fun containers, little cookie cutters (for cutting food) and so on!
I am a very beginner on this, I just googled something like bento lunch box for kids and clicked on a bunch of links. My favorite one was this article from Parenting: 20 Easy Bento lunch Boxes for kids. I loved all of the designs there plus they have the step-by-step on to how to make each bento. So I made the tiger bento as you can see. After that I found the creator of the Parenting Post: AnnatheRed.com, she is awesome and she posted about the Parenting easy bento for kids in her own blog and gave some great great advice, I recommend it!!
I have found other sites and resources like LaptopLunches, EasyLunchboxes and Momables but if you know about other great sites, let me know!!
I’m also into making wraps, I started watching instructional videos on Youtube.

LONCHERAS BENTO PARA ADRIAN
Cuando Adri fué al campamento de español tenía que llevar su almuerzo todos los días y para mi fué la primera vez haciendo lonchera por tantos días seguidos! Todos estos años de guardería y de preescolar a el le daban almuerzo y meriendas así que no tenía que preparar nada.
Pero desde que yo estaba embarazada yo sabía que era el Bento y me la pasaba muchas veces viendo muchas fotos en la internet siempre admirando las creaciones, que lindas y que divertido! Siempre lo he querido hacer y lo tengo en mente así que intenté esa semana y me encantó Y porsupuesto a Adri también.
No hice obras de arte todos los días de esa semana pero lo disfruté mucho. Se que me gusta porque es algo creativo pero con comida y además es chévere saber que a Adrian le va a gustar. El estaba tan emocionado cuando me veía hacer los almuerzos que me quiso ayudar. Ya tengo un poco de práctica para Kinder. Ahora lo que tengo que hacer es comprar los materiales tan lindos que venden, moldes chiquitos de galleta (se usan para la comida), envases divertidos, pinchos de animalitos, etc, etc.
Yo soy bien principiante en esto, lo que hice fué hacer una búsqueda en Google de loncheras de bento para niños y le di a un montón de links. Mi favorito fué este artículo de Parenting.com: 20 loncheras fáciles de Bento para niños. Me encantaron todos los diseños y además trae paso a paso como hacerlos.
Como ya ven hice el bento de tigre. Después de todo esto encontré a la creadora del post de Parenting: AnnatheRed, ella compartió lo del artículo en su blog y además añadió muchos tips buenísimos, se lo recomiendo!

Debo agregar que estan bellos tus hijos tú, me imagino que tue esposo también come rico y divertido. Desde Venezuela con mucho cariño te saludo con la boca hecha agua.
