There is a very cool contest going on this whole month of October at the Master of the glass half full Facebok page. It starts today.
You have to submit a picture if your child holding a glass of milk like the Master. Hello? Photos? Me me me! This is exactly what excites me about this project, I think the Master has definitely rubbed some positivism here and more creative to-do actions are flowing!
I immediately started to think about how I wanted to take the picture in my mind and looks for inspiration too. So we had fun at home taking it, I planned to do it only with Adrian because it’s hard to control Maya for something like this of course but Derek helped me out keeping her busy, at the end they both had fun with my white boards (I use them for reflecting the light!).
Adrian has been great as a my little model and when I tell him I need to take a picture of him he gets really excited and this time he kept asking and asking but why do you need to do it with milk mami? I like milk, but cold, I don’t like warm milk, and blah, blah, blah…!
Here are the details of contest, there are great prizes! Just a full year supply of milk is so cool!! Go take a picture of your little ones!
Prizes:
- Grand Prize/1st Place: French door stainless steel refrigerator with a year’s supply of milk
- 2nd Place: Bicycle with a front child seat and a year’s supply of milk
- 3rd Place: Professional blender with a year’s supply of milk
Photo submissions will be accepted from October 3rd through October 21st, followed by on-line voting from October 24-28th. Winners will be announced on Monday, October 31st.

Hay que presentar una foto de tu hijo o hija agarrando su vaso de leche como el Maestro. Foto? Quien dijo yo?!! Esto es lo que me emociona de este proyecto, ya como que el Maestro me ha transmitido ya lo positivo y mi creatividad y ganas de HACER las cosas están fluyendo!
Enseguida me imaginé cómo quería hacer la foto y nos divertimos bastante tomándola. La planeé sólo con Adrian porque obviamente con Maya se complicaría todo. Derek se encargó de entretenerla un poquito, al final los dos se divirtieron jugando con mis cartulinas blancas (las uso para reflejar la luz).
Adrian me sirve de modelo muy chévere en estos días, se emociona mucho cuando le digo que le tengo que tomar una foto, esta vez me empezó a hacer miles de preguntas: Y por qué con leche Mami? Bueno, a mi me gusta la leche pero fría, no caliente, y bla bla bla…!
Aquí están los detalles del concurso, los premios me parecen chéveres. Nada más un año de leche gratis es buenísimo no? Vayan y anímense a tomar su foto!
Premios:
- Gran Premio/1er Lugar: Refrigerador de 2 puertas de acero inoxidable con una año gratis de leche.
- 2do Lugar: Una bicicleta con una silla para niños frontal y un año gratis de leche.
- 3er Lugar: Licuadora profesional y un año gratis de leche.
Las fotos se aceptarán desde el 3 de Octubre hasta el 21 de Octubre, luego habrá una votación on-line del 24 al 28 de Octubre. Los ganadores se anunciarán el lunes 31 de Octubre.
