Outdoor life

I’m really liking how San Diego kind of makes us go out. I mean we could have done this in LA, there are plenty of places over there but over here we are closer to the beach and to many parks, and lots of green. I often feel like we are always on vacation. Of course, it might be because we arrived during the summer and/or because we just moved so we are probably feeling in a honeymoon stage (I hope it’s not the last reason!)

We enrolled Adrian in a little summer class that lasted 4 weeks almost as soon as we got here, it was just one day a week and he enjoyed it so much, he played different type of sports. I loved taking him, and watching him enjoy sports and nature, it was down the street were we live in a huge park by the library. So we have been there a lot and we spent some time exploring all the parks around too, we have our favorites already.

Everywhere we go has some kind of park and/or very nice views, and I know we have just scratched the surface! I’m loving our outdoor life. Let’s see what happens in the fall and winter, I can’t believe it’s already September!

All the pictures here are from that sports camp, this day in particular they dedicated to Soccer. He was so excited to have a green soccer ball; his favorite color!

De verdad me encanta como San Diego nos hace salir y disfrutar el aire libre. Yo se que hemos podido hacer esto en Los Angeles, hay tantos lugares allá también pero aquí es todo como más fácil y además estamos más cerca de la playa y del clima rico, hay muchísimos parques todos a nuestro alcance y muchísimas áreas verdes. La mayoría de las veces nos sentimos que estamos de vacaciones. Porsupuesto puede que sea por el clima veraniego y/o porque nos acabamos de mudar y todavía estamos en una etapa de luna de miel (espero que esta última no ses la razón porque sino se acabará la luna de miel!)

Apenas llegamos metí a Adri en una clase de verano en el parque más cercano, donde también está la biblioteca y donde tienen un montón de clases para los niños de la comunidad, duró 4 semanas, sólo uan vez a la semana pero como le gustó! La clase fué de pratica de deportes. Me fascinó llevarlo y verlo disfrutando tanto. Así que hemos ido bastante a ese parque y hemos explorado todos los parques del vecindario, ya tenemos nuestros favoritos.

Donde quiera que vamos aquí en San Diego hay un parque con un área verde grande y/o unas vistas lindas y se que apenas he visto algo mínimo de toda la ciudad. Por ahora estamos disfrutando de la vida al aire libre, vamos a ver que nos trae el otoño y el invierno, no puedo creer que ya es Septiembre!

Todas las fotos de hoy son de la clase donde estuvo Adri, ese día practicaron Futbol. Estaba contento porque había una pelota verde; su color favorito!
