Maya is 17 months!

Maya is definitely a busy toddler who keeps us busy too! She is climbing everything and loves to run and laugh out loud!

These pictures had to be taken in 5 minutes max which is the amount of time she could stay in that chair, the light was awful and the pictures turned out too noisy (the tiny little dots you can see on them) and I was already late cause on Sunday and Monday time flew by and no pictures were taken!

Remember how I was worried about her speech? Well, she is saying more words now! She does say MAMI, which is cute, I think she hears it so much from Adrian that she finally repeated it! She has several other words like:
.Abua (water)
.Quieo (I want)
.Esto (This one)
.Aló (Hello -while holding the phone up her ear!)
.No -which is her favorite, the funny thing is that at the moment she says no even when she means yes, and she nods her head as to say yes and sometimes she means no.
She kind of repeats one word a lot and then goes to the next for a couple of weeks, for example it’s been a while since she says “quieo”.

She and Adrian are playing a lot more together and she plays a lot by herself too. She still looves books and she sleeps really well all night and goes down for a nap at least once a day easily with her pacifier and her beloved blanky. Some people say that she is starting to look a little bit more like me, but I’m not so sure about that!

cómico es que la dice aunque quiera decir sí y a veces le hace sí con la
cabecita aunque quiera decir no.

Juegan mucho más juntos ahora y ella se entretiene solita también.
Todavía le encantan los libros y a la hora de dormir se duerme bien y
corrido toda la noche, al igual que cuando le toca la siesta se duerme
al menos una vez al día con su chupón y su cobijita querida. Algunas
personas me dicen que ahora se estaá pareciendo un poquito más a mi pero
nose!
