Girls day out in Old Town

While the boys and grandpa were out to the Ball Game Maya and me had a great outing just us two (We should do this more often! We loved it!) I took advantage of her nap in the car while I kept driving and driving with no real destination, just getting lost in San Diego and getting to know a little bit more of the city, I love to do that! I certainly saw some places that I will go back to calmly one day.

Mientras que los muchachos junto con grandpa fueron al juego de pelota Maya y yo salimos solitas (Deberíamos de hacer esto más a menudo! Nos encantó!). Primero que nada me aproveché de que se durmió una siesta grandísima en el carro y yo seguí manejando sin ningún destino previsto, simplemente perdiéndome en las calles de San Diego para conocer la ciudad un poco más, me fascina hacer esto! Y vi algunos lugares a los que quiero ir y bajarme con calma otro día.

Maya awoke and I already had a destination in mind: Old Town. We’ve been here before, I love it, even though it’s very touristy it’s so nice and full of culture, color, places to walk around, picture friendly, what else could we ask for??

Cuando Maya se despertó ya yo tenía en mente adonde ir: a Old Town. Hemos hestado aquí antes, a mi me encanta, aunque es un sitio bien turístico es bien lindo y lleno de cultura, color, lugares donde poder caminar y poder tomar fotos, que más podíamos pedir?

We ate at Crazee Burger which was excellent, I really recommend it! Nice patio and good food. Maya definetely woke up after she ate and was ready for some fun.

Comimos en Crazee Burger y estuvo riquísimo! De verdad lo recomiendo mucho! Un patio muy rico y la comida excelente. Maya definitivamente se despertó después de comer y estaba lista para pasear más.

We then walked around and sat at the grass for a little while sharing an “Arroz con Leche” (rice pudding). It was a nice, happy and calmed girls outing!

Luego caminamos a donde está la grama y nos sentamos me senté un ratico a compartir un arroz con leche. Fué un paseo muy rico, feliz y calmado entre nosotras las niñas de la casa!
