Many of you have asked me how are we doing and how are we adapting to San Diego and our new home and there are many things I want to tell you!
For starters I’ve been thinking of new lists of things I miss that I didn’t even think about before! But sorry to disappoint you cause today I wont tell you much more abut how we are doing other than we are doing great, we are adapting little by little and things are going smoothly. I will bring you more details later because today I wanted to brag about the warm welcome we received from Derek’s friends and family, he has a bunch of friends here since he was born and raised in San Diego, not sure if I have mentioned that here in the blog.

Anyways, we were invited to dinner during the first weekend we were here and I’ll never forget that day cause we all had a great time, the weather was so nice, the afternoon was perfect and we really felt welcomed to the new city.
The pictures you see here are all from that day, they live in front of a wonderful lake! Beautiful beautiful views. Note: We don’t live in the same area but there are so many areas in San Diego as pretty as this one that I am just delighted. Of course I was clicking away as soon as I got there!

Muchos de ustedes me han preguntado cómo estamos en nuestro nuevo lugar en San Diego y hay tantas cosas que les quiero contar!
Por ejemplo hay un montón de cosas que extraño que no pensé que las iba a extrañar tanto, me provoca hacer otra lista de esas… Hoy no les vengo a hablar mucho de cómo nos va en San Diego aparte de decirles que nos va muy bien y que nos estamos adaptando poquito a poco y que todo está tomando su curso. Les contaré de eso con más detalles luego porque hoy les quiero contar de una calurosa bienvenida que nos dieron los amigos y la familia de Derek, el además de su familia tiene a muchos amigo aquí porque nosé si les había contado que aquí se nació y creció.
En fín, unos amigos nos invitaron a cenar durante el primer fin de semana que llegamos y nunca se me olvidará ese día porque todos la pasamos muy chévere, el clima rico, la tarde estuvo perfecta y de veradad nos sentimos muy bienvenidos a esta ciudad.
Las fotos que ven aquí son de ese día, ellos viven en frente de un lago bien bonito y las vistas son hermosas. Ojo: no es allí donde nosotros vivimos pero hay tantas areas de San Diego así de bonitas que me quedé encantada. Porsupuesto que apenas llegué saqué mi cámara y no podía dejar de disparar!
