We went to Raging Waters a couple of weeks ago. We had lots of fun… Of course Adrian was the one that enjoyed the most, he still has a map and keeps saying: Daddy, Daddy, tomorrow we are going to go to this one, and points at the map!
The one thing that I recommend if you’re going (Still a little bit more time to go this summer!) is to bring your own park or beach chairs to sit. There are plenty of extension chairs around but if you don’t get there on time you will have trouble finding an empty spot. The irony on this is that 85% of the chairs were empty! People leave their belongings there but go enjoy the slides. We had to walk around for about 30 to 40 minutes to find a spot. We even wanted to rent a cabana but they were all reserved and the they only had big ones left which were way out of range $$.

So, we got a regular chair and brought by a row of extension chairs and I used an extension chair that was taken meanwhile, I figured, well when the people come I’ll give it back, but at the end they came and went and nobody really used it, I would say about 50% of the chairs doesn’t get used and just sits there with stuff on the whole day! I understand this since what people want to do is go enjoy the water but me with a 6 month old, I spent almost the whole time there!
Derek was with Adrian most of time and me with Maya, she enjoyed the sun but not the water, actually we tried but it wasn’t warm enough for her. Oh well!
The park is fun though, there is plenty and for every age, Adrian loved the Splash Island Adventure, the Kid’s Kingdom and the Little Dipper. But Adrian has been enjoying water parks since he was a baby, remember here??!!

Hace un par de semanas fuimos a
Raging Waters. Nos divertimos mucho… Porsupuesto Adrian fué el que más gozó, todavía tiene su mapa y lo mira y lo mira y dice: Papi, mañana vamo a ir a este tobogán, señalando al mapa!
La única recomendación que les tengo si van (Todavía queda un poquito de tiempo para ir este verano!) es que lleven sus propias sillas de playa o de parque para que tengan que dar cueltas y vueltas buscando donde sentarse. En el parque hay muchísimas sillas de estensión pero si no llegan a tiempo bien tempranito no podrán encontrar un lugar vacío donde sentarse. La ironía de esto es que el 85% de las sillas están vacías! La gente deja allí sus pertenencias y se va a disfrutar de los toboganes. Nosotros tuvimos que caminar buscando donde sentarnos alrededor de 30/40 minutos. Pensamos en rentar una cabañita pero todas estaban reservadas ya las que habían disponibles eran muy grandes y un poco fuera de nuestro alcance $$.

Entonces, conseguimos una silla normal (no de extensión) y la pusimos al lado de una fila de sillas de estensión donde no había casi nadie. Usé una de las sillas de extensión ocupadas y pensé que si alguien venía a usarla pues se la devolvía en ese momento pero a la final la gente vino y se fué y nadie usó la silla durante el tiempo en que estuvimos allí. Yo diría que como un 50% de las sillas no se utiliza en todo el día. Y lo entiendo, a la final la gente lo qu quiere es disfrutar del agua y de los toboganes pero yo con mi bebé de 6 meses pasé casi todo el tiempo allí en la silla!
Derek y Adrian estuvieron juntos la mayoría del tiempo mientras que yo estaba con Maya, ella disfrutó mucho del sol pero no del agua, intentamos meteral pero parece que no estaba lo suficientemente caliente para ella.
El parque es muy chévere, hay muchos toboganes para diferentes edades, Adrian disfrutó mucho del
Splash Island Adventure, el
Kid’s Kingdom y el
Little Dipper. Pero Adrian ha disfrutado de parques de agua desde que era bebé! Se acuerdan de
esto??!!

Adrián está divino con su carita de mini-hombre. Es un buenazo y te aconsejo que le vayas comprando un sombrero mejicano para espantarle las admiradoras 😉
Mayita… ¡qué bella y qué tierna! Me imagino que no le gustó ni un poquito el agua fría, igual es mi pollito. Qué rico que hayan disfrutado tanto.
