And she is as happy as can be! She does like to smile a lot but if you’re a stranger to her she might not that so fast! –In the pictures she was paying attention to me and smiling back and forth but ALL the smiley ones were blurry!!
I wanted to talk a little of her sleeping routine since I haven’t mentioned it since she was tiny. She still sleeps in the room with us, she starts off every night after breastfeeding around 7:30 pm in her playpen/crib that’s right by our bed, then she wakes up maybe 2 or lately even 3 more times during the night to breastfeed, I bring her in the bed with us and lay side-by-side to breastfeed and sometimes I leave her there in the crib and sometimes I’ll bring her back to the crib. Breastfeeding side-by-side is THE BEST! I didn’t know how to do that with Adrian when he was a baby so it was tiring to wake up and feed him but even though Maya wakes up at night* it usually doesn’t affect me too much cause I can lay down and sleep meanwhile she’s eating. She does go back to sleep right away until the morning around 6 or 6:30am when she makes her cute sounds saying Mami, Mami I’m awake!
I keep thinking that I want for her to go to the big crib in the other room with Adrian but I don’t think it will be happening any time soon. I rather have her close and easily feed her at night and take advantage of having this cute baby before she grows up so quick!
*But I do want to get her used to not waking up at all because theoretically she doesn’t need to eat during the night.
Y es una bebé muy contenta! Le encanta sonreir bastante pero si eres un extraño para ella no lo hará tan rápido, y reconoce a la gente. {En la foto aparece seria y es que estaba bien atenta a lo que le decía y se reía y me miraba seriecita pero todas las de las risas estaban borrosas!!}
Quiero hablar un poco de como se comporta en las noches ya que desde chiquitica no lo he contado.
Todavía duerme en el cuarto de nosotros, le doy pecho como a las 7:30 pm mas o menos y después de ahí directo a dormir en su cunita que está al lado de nuestra cama, después de ahí se despierta unas 2 veces y ultimamente hasta 3 veces durante la noche para comer. Yo la traigo a la cama con nosotros y allí le doy pecho acostada
de lado a lado, esto es LO MAXIMO! ja ja! Yo no sabía como hacer esto cuando Adrian era bebé y me pesaba despertarme durante la noche a sentarme y darle pecho por eso aunque Maya se despierta varias veces la verdad no me afecta mucho* porque mientras que le doy pecho estoy acostada y me puedo dormir facilmente mientras que lo hace. Se duerme rapidamente una vez que termina sin problema y sabe despertarse de nuevo en la mañana tempranito como a las 6 – 6:30 con sus soniditos cuchis de bebé como diciendo
Mami, Mami, ya me desperté!
En el fondo pienso que quiero que esté en la cuna grande en el otro cuarto con Adrian pero no creo que eso lo haga nada rápido porque prefiero tenerla cerquita y darle pecho facilmente y aprovechar de disfrutar a esta bebé cerquita antes de crezca tan rápido!
*Pero si la quiero acostumbrar poco a poco a que ya no se despierte porque teoricamente no le hace falta.
