Si, la Vida es Rica!!

The feeling of this picture reflects a lot what I felt in my trip to Miami. It was such an inspiration for many parts of my life. I felt so welcomed by the city, by the people, the weather, the food, the language, by all the latina bloggers…!

El feeling de esta foto aquí arriba refleja mucho como me sentí en el viaje a Miami. Hubo mucha inspiración, la ciudad, la gente, el clima, el idioma, la comida + todas las blogueras latinas que estábamos ahí!

Look at this picture! The clouds and the blue skies amazed me! Believe it or not here in LA the skies are not like this.
Miren esta foto! El cielo tan azul y lleno de nubes me impresiona mucho, aunque no lo crean aquí en LA los cielos no son así.

Here is a little collage of some of us getting to know each other before going to the welcome dinner the day we arrived.

Aquí, unas foticos de algunas de nosotroas conociéndonos antes de que nos fuéramos a la cena de bienvenida el día en que llegamos.

We were welcomed by very nice Mariachi band of all ladies “Las Damas de Jalisco”, and a very nice dinner were we got to know a little bit more of each other and a little more about QueRicaVida and the following day’s events.

Nos dieron la bienvenida un grupo de mujeres Mariachi muy buenas, se llaman “Las Damas de Jalisco” y luego cenamos muy rico mientras que nos conocimos un poquito más entre nosotras (las blogueras y la prensa también) y nos hablaron un poco más acerca de QueRicaVida y de los eventos del día siguiente.

One of the things I really like about this website and the whole event is the design… It’s kind of funny, I can’t go anywhere without noticing design in things! And the colors they used! My favorites… Seen the color of the background on this blog? 😉

Una de las cosas que me encanta de esta página y que me gustó mucho del evento es el diseño… Y es que no puedo ir a ningún lado sin fijarme en el diseño de las cosas! Y los colores que usan!! Mis favoritos… Se han fijado del color de fondo de mi blog?? El mismito 😉

Here is where the main event took place, it was a “talk” show in between all these ladies, some of them very famous latina actresses. The one on the far left is Angelica Vale, I liked her a lot, she’s pretty funny 🙂 They talked about the features of the website and they made some recipes on stage.

Aquí está parte del lugar donde se hizo el evento, fué un “talk” show entre todas estas mujeres, ya me imagino que uds las conocerán, unas actrices y celebridades famosas. La que está del lado izquierdo es Angelica Vale, em cayó super bien, es muy cómica. Ellas hablaron mucho de la página de internet y de todas las categorías que tiene, hasta cocinaron unas recetas allí.

Actually before the show started and we were mingling, these guys were showing the webiste on iPads! That was pretty cool!

Antes de que empezara el show estaban estos muchachos enseñando la página con unos iPads! Me pareció bien chévere!!

This event seems to be the first one in its kind including so many of us latina bloggers, I was really honored to be there, they treated me so well and I’m definetely interested in QueRicaVida! I love their name, and you know what? It’s completely in Spanish, it’s specially made for us latinas.

Este evento parece ser uno de los primeros eventos en su tipo donde estuvimos tantas blogueras latinas. De verdad me siento super agradecida de haber sido invitada, nos trataron muy muy bien. Muchas gracias QueRicaVida! Me encanta el nombre que tienen! Y saben qué? Me gusta mucho que la página está completamente en español!
