Update on test


First they attach the little ends of the cables with some heavy lotion
to his head and put a piece of cotton on top


Then, they add more to his face with some stickers and wrap it all up
with a towel to record his brain activity

Last friday Adrian had his EEG (Electroencephalography) {Spanish: electroencefalograma}, he behaved excellent!! Here are a couple of snapshots taken with my cellphone.

He looks a little sad but nothing hurt, he was just scared and cried a little bit. After the little cables where stuck to his head we waited there for about 40 minutes and he just stayed there calmly, he didn’t fall sleep which is what they where hoping for but he didn’t complain or move too much either.

We don’t have the results yet, those will be in sometime this week. I’ll keep you updated!

    Poor Adrian! Is the EEG test for his seizures? Hope everything is okay!

    Yes Bev!! Everything is ok, we still need to meet with a neurologist after this though, we want to know every detail.

    Gracias a todas por sus pensamientos! Adrian salió muy bien en el examen y está todo normal, ahora falta ir con el neurologo!

    Hola Dariela!!
    Estos dias estuve leyendo tu blog..y conociendolos un poquito..
    Por lo que pude leer y entender, Adrian ha tenido convulsiones febriles..y el EEG dio Ok!
    Suele sucederle a muchos niñitos..sin dejar secuelas.
    Con el tiempo desaparecen..
    De lo que sí estoy segura es que Adrian es un niñito por demás sensible y perceptivo, y seguramente muy intuitivo…
    Estoy preparando un artículo sobre Reiki para bebs y niños para Mamas Blogueras..ahi te contare mas..pero por ahi a él le haría muy bien.
