A little bit of this and a little bit of that

Here are some pictures of our weekend getaway to Palm Springs. This is a city in the desert among other desert cities in California, it’s about 2 hours away from our house and it is full with hotel, resorts, golf and vacationists!

We had a great time except for it was too short. Next time we will go for 3 nights instead of 2, now we know!!

This is the hotel room, really nice! -bad picture though 🙁

Very nice and relaxing pool ambient.

There’s lots to do at night.

We went to the tram they have in Palm Springs. It’s nice! from 2000ft to 8000ft. Temperature changes by 30 degrees Farenheit. Nice view and there is lots of hikes that we didn’t cause we didn’t plan for. The tram rotates 360 degrees while going up and down!

On memorial Day (May 26th) we took Adrian to the museum for some children activities but he enjoyed the outdoors area the most!

Here is a little hill where kids roll down and Adrian climbed the hill and then sat like he was in a slide waiting to juts slide down!! We taught him to roll and he had so much fun, we rolled with him for a couple of times before getting very dizzy! He LOVED it!!

Last weekend we went to the beach with Adrian but guess what? I didn’t take pictures 🙁 My camera didn’t have the battery charged, bad me! But it was very fun, Adrian keeps eating sand but he also didn’t stop eating anything we gave him and now when we eat he has to have the sam e thing, -un poquito lambucio el niñito ;)- He had fun with the sand for long times and he was afraid of going in the ocean, but I don’t blame him cause the water felt freezing. He kept yelling BIRD BIRD and PANE PANE (plane) when he saw them.

He has more words:
Manka: Monkey (I love how he says this!)
Bebi: Baby (when he sees a baby for real or in a picture)
CA: Cat (This is first word of the day usually as he sees the kitties walk into his room)
BOO: Book
BALL CAR
NO: Nose (while he points at it)
APPE: apple or any other similar fruit like orange or peach
NANA: banana

It’s almost time for this Blog’s Birthday!!! Remember to stop by on June 5th to participate in the giveaway!! I will be giving away a handmade piece, …taran taran…! come and see what it will be! I’m very excited, it will even be customized for the winner!!

Yo, yo, yo!!!! pa’l premio. Ni sé la fecha.

Lovely photos, wish we were there. I´ve been to California once, on my bicycle from NH so the not-flat parts I didn´t really enjoy.

Are you keeping a language journal for Adrian? I didn´t, and I wish I had so make sure you write down all those cute things and his development from cute to wit.
