Feliz Cumpleaños a mi!! Happy Birthday to me!

Well, otro año más! Si señor, ya son 36. Que les parece?
La verdad estoy muy contenta de estar donde estoy y compartir mi vida con con esta maravillosa familia y además, es mi primer cumpleaños como mamá. No se siente mucho la diferencia, pero vale la pena decirlo 😉

Ayer fué un cumpleaños un poco distinto ya que tuve una cita para huella digitales (por lo del green card) en Buena Park (que queda como a 35min de mi casa SIN tráfico y a 1 hora CON tráfico) a la 1pm. Derek y Adrián fueron conmigo y la cita no duró más de media hora. Después de allí fuimos a comer a un restaurant que nunca había ido, lo chévere es que tiene un trensito que va alrededor de todo el restaurant. Adrián estaba fascinado y por ende yo también viendole la cara de asombro. Después de allí entre tanta indesición por comprar una cámara nueva, Derek me convenció de ir a una tienda al menos y verla, y porqué no tomar la decisión al instatnte en ese momento de comprarla (cosa que nunca hago)?? Bueno, y entre muchas aventuras, 3 o 4 tiendas y tráfico la compramos!!! Si! es cheverísima!! Me fascina y estoy muy contenta con mi regalo (colaboración de mi esposito lindo, mi suegra, mi cuñada y yo misma!). Haré otro post para enseñarles las fotos que hemos tomado con esta nueva cámara!

Another year! 36 years old!!
Birthdays make you reflect a little bit about where you are in life and what you are doing, etc, etc… I have to say that I am very happy to be where I am and I’m very happy to share my life with this wonderful new family, and its also my first bday as a mom. It doesn’t feel so much of a difference but its worth saying 😉

Yesterday was a little different birthday day because I had a biometrics appointment (green card stuff) at 1pm in Buena Park (this is 35min away from where I live WITHOUT traffic and an hour and a half WITH traffic). Derek and Adrian went with me and then we went to have lunch at a restaurant called Po Folks, I’ve never been there and I liked it, it has a little train that runs around the whole place (on top, close to the roof, see pictures here). Adrian was fascinated and of course me too just by looking at him. So, Derek gave me a birthday card where he convinced me to go to a camera shop and at least look at the camera that I want and why not buy it??!! After all it was my birthday and I deserve it -he said 😉 Soo, after so much indecision, 3 or 4 stores and lots of traffic we got it!!! Yes, I love it and I’m very happy with my present (collaboration of my awesome husband, my mother in law, my sister in law Jill and myself). I’ll make another post to show you all the wonderful pictures we’ve been taking. I hope you don’t get tired of them cause we’re just starting!

Ufff, esto de escribir en los dos idiomas me cansó!! Es que me dió hoy por escribir en español y luego lo hice en inglés, pero toma tiempo!!

Wowe, writing in both languages got me exhausted. I just felt like writing in spanish today but then I wanted to translate to english and it takes a loooong time! Did I just posted twice??
